Maintenance Staff

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable, practical and solution-oriented Maintenance Staff to join our team from September 2026. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, resourceful and comfortable taking care of many different aspects of a villa environment.

You will help ensure that our villas, guest spaces and service areas remain functional, safe, clean and well-presented, while contributing to the premium quality and day-to-day reliability of Amani.

Your Mission

• Handle general maintenance tasks across villas and guest spaces.
• Check and fix small issues related to equipment, furniture, fittings and basic installations.
• Monitor lighting, plumbing, doors, locks, fans, air conditioning and essential villa functions.
• Make sure each property remains safe, practical and guest-ready at all times.
• Support preventive maintenance and report larger technical issues when needed.
• Assist with set-up, small repairs, replacements and practical problem-solving on site.
• Work closely with operations, housekeeping and villa management teams.

Required Profile

• Previous experience in maintenance, property care, technical support or handyman work is appreciated.
• Ability to handle a variety of practical tasks inside and around a villa.
• Comfortable with basic repairs, adjustments and everyday technical problem-solving.
• Serious, punctual and dependable attitude.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative when needed.
• Good communication and respectful behaviour with team members and guests.
• Professional mindset and willingness to keep high standards.

Main Responsibilities

• Inspect villas regularly to identify repair or upkeep needs.
• Carry out minor repairs and practical interventions quickly and efficiently.
• Ensure everything in the villa works properly and looks well maintained.
• Support the upkeep of indoor and outdoor areas.
• Follow up on maintenance checklists and operational priorities.
• Report major issues that require external support or specialist intervention.
• Help maintain the premium image and functionality of each property.

Languages

• Swahili: appreciated
• English: basic to good level appreciated
• French: a plus, but not mandatory
